Responsibilities
Role Summary/Purpose:

The Domestic Theatrical Finance Manager is responsible for forecasting, reporting and analyzing P&L and Cash Flow. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this individual must have the ability to identify, understand, and communicate key revenue and cost drivers to management team. This individual will also be expected to manage overhead spend; and ensure marketing and distribution operations are complying with corporate policies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, be a team player and able to effectively work across all levels of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Forecasting, reporting and analyzing domestic theatrical monthly, quarterly and annual income statement & cash flow
• Prepare roll forward analysis and variance explanations for both P&L and Cash
• Analyze and prepare pre-release case scenarios for domestic theatrical releases
• Analyze impact of PVOD performance to the theatrical retention rates
• Assist with forecasting domestic theatrical landscape
• Manage overhead spend and perform variance analysis monthly
• Participate in bi-weekly senior executive meetings on marketing budgets.
• Assist in headcount reporting and variance analysis monthly
• Participate in the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan
• Collaborate with FP&A team and controllership to close the financial month, quarter and fiscal year for Domestic Theatrical
• Assist with internal, external and Sarbanes Oxley audits
• Improve existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for Finance team
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• 4 year degree (BA,BS) from an accredited college or university in Finance or related field
• Minimum 4-5 years of finance experience
• Strong forecasting, analytic and financial modeling skills
• Solid understanding of financial statements
• Outstanding computer skills including extensive experience with Microsoft Office programs – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work at Universal City
• Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
