Job Description
The Analyst, Payments Management on the Universal Studios Hollywood Controllership team is responsible for Payment operations, accounting and analysis. This position will assist with the set-up, mapping, and maintenance of new Merchant ID's, new Payment Tenders, and the testing and implementation of new systems and enhancements as well as support financial close and new initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:
• Support the overall Payments (Merchant IDs & Vault) accounting function by understanding all the USH various IT systems which support the reporting and recognition of revenue.
• Perform credit card reconciliation and monitor Vault cash activity including monthly JE's.
• Monitor refund requests and provide risk assessment analyses on volume and trends extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations.
• Work closely with Loss Prevention on fraud and payment risk processes.
• Partner with various USH divisions including Finance, and IT and be actively involved in any setup, changes or modification of non-cash payment types ensuring the product/payment flows appropriately through BOH accounting systems and ultimately recognized to the general ledger in accordance with Payment industry stands & US GAAP.
• Own key Month- and Quarter-end close activities with a focus on timeliness and accuracy of deliverables, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Monitor daily Accounts Receivable (A/R) Interface and Aging and other analysis reports to support the business.
• Facilitate optimization of current processes to further efficiencies and foster a forward progress culture.
• Other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience within Accounting, Theme Parks, Financial Systems, or similar experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
