Responsibilities
NBCU News Group is seeking a Manager on its Standards & Practices team. The Manager will provide support and guidance to all platforms.

Job Duties:
• Work with the senior level editorial team for various shows and platforms; reviewing reports for accuracy, fairness and adequate sourcing.
• Help uphold overall news division wide standards policies and guidelines.
• Provide guidance to journalists (both on air and off) on news standards.
• Ensure that new and current employees are continually educated on News Group standards & practices.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Communications,

Journalism, English, History or a related field of study.
• 5+ years working experience within the broadcast news
or cable industry.
• Prior experience with broadcast or cable, as well as

digital news content.
• Must have solid news and editorial judgment.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to handle confidential material with utmost

discretion.

• Must be willing to work in New York, N.Y.
