Job Description
As the Manager, Distribution Partnerships, you will play a key role in expanding Universal+'s presence across the region by managing, optimizing, and growing strategic relationships with affiliate and platform partners. You will be responsible for executing partnership strategies, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, and supporting new business development efforts across cable, telco, OTT, and digital partners.
This role blends account management and commercial development, requiring both strong operational discipline and a growth mindset. You will work closely with regional and global teams in marketing, content, legal, and product to deliver impactful partnership activations and revenue-driving initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Partner Relationship Management & Growth
• Serve as the day-to-day lead for assigned distribution partners across Latin America, ensuring strong, productive relationships.
• Drive account growth by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and co-marketing opportunities with partners.
• Support contract management, renewals, and compliance processes in collaboration with legal and finance.
• Ensure partners are aligned with Universal+ brand and product priorities and deliver consistent value.
Business Development & Commercial Support
• Support the Director in identifying and evaluating new partnership opportunities in both traditional and emerging platforms (e.g., telcos, OEMs, streaming aggregators).
• Assist in developing and presenting compelling commercial proposals tailored to potential partners.
• Conduct market and partner research to inform business development strategy and pipeline development.
• Track competitor activity and evolving trends in distribution and OTT across the region.
Campaign Activation & Go-to-Market Execution
• Coordinate and execute go-to-market initiatives and campaigns with partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing assets, messaging, and timelines are locally relevant and aligned.
• Support the rollout of new product sales formats, bundles, and trial offers with distribution partners.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
• Monitor partner KPIs including subscriber growth, conversion rates, churn, and revenue contribution.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve partner performance.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and internal documentation to track progress against goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner with internal stakeholders across marketing, content, finance, and legal to ensure effective delivery of partnership initiatives.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing across markets and ensure best practices are applied regionally.
• Help translate local market needs into internal strategy recommendations.
Qualifications
Experience:
• 4–6 years of experience in partnerships, account management, or business development within the media, telecom, digital, or entertainment industries.
• Proven ability to manage commercial relationships and support deal execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with partners in multiple Latin American markets.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ideally should be willing to work in Sao Paulo, BRA.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Desired Characteristics:
• Strong relationship management and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Commercially savvy, with a deep understanding of partnership dynamics, performance metrics, and value creation.
• Fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
• Highly organized and analytical, with experience in project coordination and performance tracking.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
