Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Client Strategy; the Client Strategy Manager will be part of a team responsible for developing deep knowledge of assigned industries/clients and translating that knowledge into innovative client-focused NBCU portfolio solutions. The Manager will also support the Client Strategy team's role in creating external-facing thought leadership materials that are grounded in marketplace, media, and cultural trends. The position will support the day-to-day activities of their team and be a key collaborator with teams across the NBCU Ad Sales organization including marketing, sales, operations, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Be a critical member of the 'go-to' expert team for marketplace/industry intelligence across the NBCU Ad Sales division, with a focus on the CPG, Beverage, and Travel industries
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of relevant industries (consumer trends, media spend trends, competitive landscape, strategic challenges, disruptors, etc.) and effectively synthesize for internal teams
• Build compelling industry-centric sales strategies to support key company stakeholders and fuel growth for the NBCUniversal portfolio
• Turn insights and trends into compelling narratives reflecting how the NBCU platform can achieve clients' objectives
• Identify and define areas for growth including potential revenue/market share gains and partner with sales to capitalize on those opportunities
• Maintain ongoing understanding and knowledge of evolving macroeconomic changes, consumer behaviors, and media industry trends
• Contribute to thought leadership projects rooted in industry, culture, and marketplace trends
• Work with management to develop project plans and deliverable timelines, ensuring the team is delivering on schedule
• Provide support to Director and VP in creating a positive, collaborative team environment
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years in relevant experience (agency strategy/planning, performance/digital marketing, brand/management consulting, client-side marketing/media/digital)
• Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into action
• Has experience researching and analyzing data and information, extracting key truths and insights
• Understanding of media/advertising principles, concepts, data sources, and tools is a plus
• Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Acts proactively to anticipate and deliver on sales requests and client needs
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Salary Range: $80,000 - 100,000
