Responsibilities:
• Parse agreements and other relevant documents to track pertinent dates and deadlines across Universal Studio Group business units (Universal Content Productions, Universal Television, Universal Television Alternative Studios) for executive producer term deals, first run syndication shows, and late night shows including but not limited to: reviewing documents to determine option/deadline dates, talent cycles, underlying rights, executive producer commitments and provisions.
• Administer departmental applications (Salesforce, ELF, DMS and Sharepoint) for contract terms, dates and contacts for talent, production, and license deals such as scripts, distribution agreements, license agreements, and all forms of producers, writers, directors and performers contracts
• Effectively communicate deal terms and deadlines to Creative, Finance, Production, Business Affairs and Legal Executives concisely, accurately and in a timely fashion
• Follow-up with appropriate contacts to retrieve necessary information to complete open-ended deal terms
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Ability to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and translate legal jargon into easy-to-understand language
• Minimum two years' experience in Television Business Affairs Administration or para-legal setting in entertainment matters
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
