Manager, Ad Sales Finance, Hispanic Group

Responsibilities

This position will be a key member of the Ad Sales Finance team, supporting all aspects of the Hispanic Group TV pricing & sales forecasting, revenue analysis, systems maintenance and financial closes. The positions will offer great exposure to learn all aspects of Ad Sales within the Hispanic Group, which includes Broadcast (Telemundo), Cable (NBC Universo) and Telemundo Deportes (Sports) properties.
• Provide ongoing support to Snr. Director/Vice President, Ad Sales Pricing in fundamental reporting and analysis
• Create, own and maintain financial models for network ad sales revenue for all key financial forecast cycles (Budget/Long Range Plan/Estimates), and weekly pacing/reporting against these forecasts
• Ownership of Sales reporting and metrics analysis (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Participate in revenue forecasting process (budget, long range plan, estimates)
• Prepare Programming Green Lights and Post Mortems.
• Execute monthly/quarterly financial close
• Research drivers of key variances and trends
• Improve depth of existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for both Finance and Sales teams
• Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, OnAir, etc.)
• Develop expertise in TV ad market trends, growth, and competition
• Work cross-functionally on ad hoc, Sales/Planning related project work

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business, Accounting, Finance or Mathematics or relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years finance experience

Eligibility Requirements
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
