Job Description
NBCUniversal Local is seeking a results-driven sales professional to lead revenue growth for Telemundo Tampa (WRMD) and Telemundo Fort Myers/Naples (WWDT), as well as expand multi-market OTT sales through NBC Spot On, including Peacock.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead all local sales efforts for Telemundo Tampa and Telemundo Fort Myers/Naples.
• Collaborate with regional sales leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that grow station revenue and market share.
• Manage the Local Sales team in achieving sales targets, developing pricing strategies, optimizing inventory/order management, and meeting business development objectives.
• Directly manage and grow key client accounts to maximize revenue and exceed budget goals.
• Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive positioning to create premium value across platforms.
• Promote the value of the Hispanic marketplace and drive revenue opportunities for WRMD and WWDT.
• Educate clients and partners on the value of OTT, positioning NBC Spot On and Peacock as premier advertising platforms for reaching bilingual and Spanish-speaking audiences.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in television/media sales, including linear and digital platforms.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in a broadcast or media environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Established relationships with local agencies/clients and strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to grow market share.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales systems such as Wide Orbit and Salesforce.
• Ability to strategically develop and execute sales plans and adapt tactically as needed.
• Proven success in selling broadcast TV, OTT/digital, and integrated advertising solutions.
Additional Requirements:
• Must be based in Tampa and able to travel regularly to Fort Myers and across Florida.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the US

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience using media research tools and industry analytics is a plus.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
