Responsibilities
The Line Producer is responsible for conceptualizing stories with other content managers, support production, write and edit news while managing the line production.
Responsibilities:
• Build the show's rundown each day and work with the General Producer and Executive Producer to time each segment and show.
• Work with the Content Producers, Associate Producers and Post Production Supervisor to make sure all elements like b-roll and graphics are detailed in the rundown and are present
• Ensure the show is delivered on time each day
• Implementing and working independently with guidance from Executive Producer
• Being the last line of defense before content goes to air
• Develop ideas and sources of program segments.
• Take part in editorial planning and show vision.
• Responsible for showcasing elements that enhance the show.
• Coordinate live (truck or satellite) broadcast remotes when needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Works under the direct supervision of the Executive Producer of En Casa Con Telemundo and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related or similar field
• Must have at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
• Must have at least 5 years of Line Producing experience
• Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
• Expert in I News
• Experience as a content producer is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of how to visually tell a compelling story are also important
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, problem solve, and be resourceful while working in a fastpaced
environment
• Must have at least 8 years of experience in television (i.e. morning shows, cable shows,
broadcast TV, etc.).
Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7
production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
