Production

The Production HR team provide HR expertise & business partnering to all International Film, TV & theatrical productions. Working as pro-active partners to the Production & assisting Head of Departments on Production. The Production HR partners attend Production sets and provide in-person advice & support. The team is also responsible in ensuring the Company RITW is booked and all crew are attending and adhering to the policy.

Key Responsibilities

Production HR
• Liaising and advising Production management on all HR activity throughout the Lifecyle of a Production
• Partner with UK Production Companies, attending the offices and being responsive to employee questions
• Act as an advisor and counsel for everyone engaged on Productions
• Provide HR Support to freelancers as and when required
• Ensure RITW training is delivered to everyone working on Production. Managing the scheduling and updating attendance
• Lead on coordinating management training across the Production
• Manage the Production kick start meetings for each Production
• Manage multiple employee relations situations proactively, in confidence and within the company guidelines
• Note taking as required on cases being investigated by Senior HR Manager
• Where appropriate, lead on investigations into employee relations matters. Delivering in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy, working in partnership with Employment Law
• Actively seek and update with Employment Law
• Identify and work with Global Production HR on initiatives which support the changing nature of Production environments
• Attend Productions as and when required
• Participate in and support key HR initiatives such as performance management, succession planning & compensation planning for Production Company employees
• Maintain expertise in systems (SAP, myHR), processes, and security to enable accurate submissions and reporting
• Provide support to onboard, separate, and update employees in all applicable HR systems, as required including leavers
• Maintain and administer all transactions related to visa processing
• Work on special projects, as assigned
• Attend training seminars to keep up to date on employment case law, employee relations and Union involvement

Qualifications
• Previous experience in handling low level employee-relations matters which involve disciplinary action
• Able to quickly build rapport with others must be approachable and able to earn trust and credibility with employees in the organization
• Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Experience of handling conflict and managing difficult employee relations situations to resolution
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior creative executives
• Possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Ability to travel and attend Productions. There will be a requirement to travel to shoots in Europe on a frequent basis

Requirements
• Previous experience in working within an HR function
• Qualifications and training in HR desirable
