VERSANT is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team! In this role, you will help support various client groups across Entertainment, Corporate (Finance/Legal/Communications), as well as teams within Business Development, Distribution and Analytics/Insights. You will help drive HR processes that span: onboarding, rewards and recognition, performance feedback, talent attraction and development, and HR's business impact. In the day to day, you will partner in the areas of organization design & integration, staffing, compensation planning, manager coaching, employee development, workforce planning and performance management. In collaboration with the HRBP teams, the HR Generalist will provide day to day client support and HR solutions for their assigned client groups.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage HR processes (including onboarding, rewards and recognition, performance feedback, talent attraction and development) and provide HR support for client groups
• Partner/collaborate with leadership team to align and execute HR strategies in support of business initiatives
• Manage complex employee relations issues including organizational and structural changes
• Develop and implement appropriate change management plans
• Implement and monitor adherence to HR policies, procedures and practices
• Provide advice, counsel and coaching to employees regarding HR policies and procedures
• Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Employment Law
• Serve as project manager to coordinate and oversee programs and initiatives across the business
• Uncover, assess and propose opportunities improve HR processes
Qualifications
• 3+ years of relevant, professional HR work experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desired Characteristics:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal guidance or direct supervision

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work overtime when required
• Must be willing to travel for work related business if necessary
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000.
