Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Content Finance team supporting Unscripted Realities, Tentpoles, and Live Events. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about entertainment and media.
This position reports to the Finance Manager and plays a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, production budgeting, and strategic analysis, ensuring alignment with NBCUniversal's financial standards and production goals.
Job Duties:
• Support monthly close activities for all Unscripted productions.
• Prepare detailed forecasts, pacing reports, and variance analysis in accordance with finance deliverables
• Track actuals vs. projected spend of approved program budgets
• Track and approve payments according to contractual obligations.
• Prepare monthly consolidated Programming Liability tracker for Content Programming team.
• Partner with Production Management, HR, Legal, IT, Controllership and Sourcing to support business needs.
• Support ad hoc analysis as needed with collaboration of the Content Finance team.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experience with financial systems (SAP, BPC, or similar)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication required
• Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends and available for time-sensitive business requests

Desired Characteristics:
• Production finance experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Team player with a customer service orientation.
Additional Requirements:
• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
