DIVISION PROFILE
NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
OVERVIEW
The Director, Sales Strategy & Development, is primarily responsible for monitoring macroeconomic trends, subscriber growth, viewing trends, competitive landscape and new technologies on a global basis focusing primarily on SVOD. In this role, the Director will engage in collaborating to structure US volume deals & large packages, and multi-territory SVOD deals. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Sales Strategy & Development, and will also be responsible for Coordinating and facilitating deal making with local sales executives, sales administration and operations, business, and legal affairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for running complex financial models for US and multi-territory/global negotiations.
• Benchmarking analysis on fees and key deal terms.
• Promoting best practices and license fee guidance for local SVOD deals.
• Participating in the Company's long-range planning and annual budgeting activities/decks.
• Creating ad-hoc presentations for senior management.
• Supervising the Manager of Sales Strategy & Development.

Qualifications/Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or financial analysis in the entertainment industry.
• Possesses superior financial modelling, analytical skills, and an ability to work at a high level of detail and speed.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desired Characteristics
• BS/BA or master's degree (strongly preferred) in business or economics.
• Advanced Knowledge with Excel, including Macros (VBA), Databases, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other Advanced Formulas.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity are necessary to enable him/her to interact with clients from every part of the world, as well as colleagues and management at different business units.
• Direct experience with content licensing and/or channel carriage agreements preferred
• Mastery of PPT in speed, professional business design, and an ability to convert data and storytelling into concise graphical depictions.
• Comfortability with working in a multi-task, project-driven environment where tight deadlines and multiple demands may require flexibility, longer hours, and travel.
• Self-motivated individual that can work as a member of multiple teams as well as independently.
• Demonstrates confidence and leadership without direct authority.
