Responsibilities

Role Purpose: The Director, Promotions & Partnerships is responsible for managing all consumer-facing initiatives at Focus Features. As part of the marketing team, the role will be tasked with developing, negotiating, and executing on various promotions and partnerships for each film's release.

Responsibilities:
• Develop strategy and manage overall execution of unique and impactful partnership programs to build awareness for feature film releases and affinity for Focus Features brand
• Identify, pursue, and develop deals with external brand partners, conducting outreach, meetings and calls, and creating pitch materials and outlines to negotiate and secure deals
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams to finalize and expand deal points, working closely with Production, Publicity/Field Promotions, Creative Advertising, Digital, Media, In-Theater Marketing, Legal and Home Entertainment teams
• Run the deal approval, creative execution, and partnership contract drafting process
• Oversee brand partnerships and event management from ideation to execution of partnerships and experiential activations
• Contribute to and lead, as required, the development of partnership programs and sweepstakes for the Focus Insider community.
• Manage e-commerce strategy including development of original goods & apparel, forming partnerships, and growing overall revenue.
• Work alongside NBCU Ad Sales to form client relationships and develop content monetization opportunities.
• Identify, pursue, and develop deals with external brand partners, conducting outreach, meetings and calls, and creating pitch materials and outlines to negotiate and secure deals
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams to finalize and expand deal points, working closely with Production, Publicity/Field Promotions, Creative Advertising, Digital, Media, In-Theater Marketing, and Home Entertainment teams
• Run the deal approval and creative execution process
• Create campaign postmortems to share with internal teams, as well as competitive research reports on other studio partnerships and relevant industries

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of 4 years in brand marketing and/or entertainment partnership and promotions experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Mac software programs (Keynote)
