Responsibilities

The Director, International Sales, Global Partnership Marketing, Latin America and Asia Pacific will lead the Theatrical Promotions activities for all Universal titles within the Latin America and Asia Pacific regions. The focus of the position will be to deliver significant regional and local promotions in the regions that generate exposure and revenue for Universal's film releases. This position will manage the promotional sales efforts for the regions including but not limited to presentation of Universal titles, communication with and direction of the local in-market teams, management of outside agencies and communication to internal and external stakeholders on a consistent basis. This position will report to the VP, International Promotions.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Oversee International promotions activities for Universal titles across Latin America and Asia Pacific
• Develop International promotional strategies
• Pitch and negotiate direct partnerships
• Direct and collaborate with in-market theatrical teams and promotions agencies to solicit and secure promotions
• Manage promotions efforts of external/local agencies against our global, regional and local promotional, licensing and retail efforts (essential to coordinate with key internal stakeholders)
• Coordinate and communicate with Universal Pictures executives, local Universal Pictures offices throughout the regions and 3rd party promotions agencies
• Serve as point person to key international partners
• Oversee promotions budget with management and Finance for assigned regions

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience working with 3rd party promotional partners with a proven track record of leading sales efforts for entertainment properties
• 3+ years' experience managing international promotions across many countries and territories
• Deep knowledge of international promotions business and must possess solid contacts with top promotional partners in the regions
• Bachelor's degree

Desired Characteristics
• Movie Studio experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in additional languages a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop clear and consistent messages across many different stakeholders
• Strong pitching and negotiating skills with the ability to close large deals
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across many different territories and time zones
• Experience working with filmmakers or creatives
• Ability to prioritize partners and categories that deliver significant media and revenue
