Job Description

As a Programmatic Digital Sales Planner you will play a critical role within our fast-paced ad sales team with a focus on driving revenue through a suite of programmatic products, a key component of our sales offerings across NBCU's streaming portfolio.

You will report into to the Manager of Programmatic Strategic Planning, and will manage pre and post-sale campaign execution with clients and ad tech partners while collaborating with key stakeholders across the NBCU organization in order to meet revenue goals.

Advanced knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and ability to operate effectively at the cross-section of traditional and new media are critical to achieving success in this role.

Responsibilities:
• Work across internal departments (Sales, Planning, Ad Ops, Account Management, etc.) to develop, implement, and execute programmatic campaigns across NBCU's streaming portfolio, including Peacock
• Collaborate with Programmatic Account Directors to create media plans that achieve client objectives and maximize programmatic advertising revenue via programmatic guaranteed and private marketplace sales channels
• Manage client relationships in close partnership with sales to deliver superior customer service
• Ensure all campaigns are executed correctly and partner closely with Programmatic Ad Ops to ensure campaigns launch on-time and deliver in full
• Liaise with Programmatic Ad Ops and Account Management teams to proactively monitor deal health and eliminate revenue-at-risk
• Proactively communicate campaign highlights and/or red flags to Account Director/Planning Director/Account Manager to enable resolution with client
• Serve as key internal subject matter expert on NBCU's programmatic offerings

Qualifications
• Prior digital media planning / industry experience
• Experience at a DSP/SSP/Agency is preferred
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Highly independent, motivated self-starter with ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships within a cross-functional matrixed organization
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for a broad audience
• Ad Serving software and tracking knowledge a plus

Eligibility Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience in media planning or client service role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Must be able to work in Los Angeles, CA in a hybrid capacity; Tuesday - Thursday on-site, Monday and Friday remote with the flexibility to adjust as business needs dictate
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $62,000-$70,000 + Bonus eligible
