Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Appear on air filing news reports and conducting 'live' interviews from the Company's studio
• May be required to report stories from the field and contribute articles to CNBC.com.
• Write clean, clear and accurate news copy
• Develop financial and business news knowledge
• Contribute and develop story ideas and develop and invite guests to CNBC shows.
• Develop sources and generate independent reporting
• Work closely with each member of a production team.
• Communication with producers, production team, news editors, other anchors, reporters and correspondents, and operations staff.
• Work with the company's marketing department as requested to promote CNBC.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
• At least 6-8 years' business news reporting experience
• Prior experience working in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets and business news, as well as business and finance
• Excellent news judgement and high attention to detail
• Lively, engaging on-camera personality
• Fluency in English is essential
