Responsibilities

This role will provide administrative support to the EVP, Media & the SVP of NBC & Sports Creative. This role will also be scheduling and coordinating promotional assets to support linear and non-linear programming on NBC Entertainment. They will support the overall media planning strategies and help generate brand awareness by ensuring that all priorities for marketing and programming are being efficiently promoted on-air. They must be skilled in organizing and planning with the ability to hit hard deadlines, troubleshoot and pivot at a moment's notice.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide administrative to EVP & SVP. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings for EVP, SVP and department(s)
• Booking travel arrangements
• Manage expenses
• Update and maintain contact sheets
• Track department time-off (sick, personal, vacation)

Multiplatform Scheduling responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Help maximize viewership by strategically planning and scheduling promo campaigns to maximize reach and frequency
• Plan and schedule NBC promos according to marketing priorities, understand premiere plans, rollout and stunt strategies
• Schedule promos, placeholders across day parts on NBC in Sintec including cross channel/symphony priorities, including regular Peacock, Entertainment, and Sports campaigns
• Adjust promo timings when format changes applied for planned and alt logs, communicating closely with Net Ops
• Troubleshooting and problem solving, working with all teams to investigate and resolve format discrepancies, missing promos/tags for scheduling needs
• Assist with promo campaign entry in Sintec and Promo Optimizer systems: promo codes, versions, flight dates, lengths, and revisions, ensuring most up to date and accurate data maintained/swapped as needed.
• Assist with promo trafficking to NBCU Networks and Digital Platforms, communicate closely with counterparts across the Multiplatform Planning team, relaying promo priorities and scheduling nuances
• Assist with compiling & reconciling on-air schedules for post campaign analysis; pull post-log reports
• Assist the larger media department with any ad-hoc projects/requests.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
• 1+ year relevant work experience.
• Strong computer skills: proficient in Mac, PC, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
