Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
• Review legal contracts and other documents such as production schedules and weekly status reports to track all pertinent information related to writers and directors
• Create, update, administer Freelance Writer and Director agreements using contract management software
• Work closely with Director regarding status of deal memos and long form agreements
• Track agreements with agents/managers and/or talent for fully executed contracts
• Submit to the WGA and DGA deal memos and long form agreements via DocuSign
• Update relevant production reports to maintain timely agreement creation and follow-up
• Administer the WGA Weekly Work List by reviewing/abstracting departmental communications and contracts for data on projects, writers and start/end dates. Submit report to WGA on weekly basis
• Assist Director with the creation the WGA Notice of Tentative Writing Credits.
• Administer department Chron folder (electronically store in-coming documents/emails)
• Participate/lead in developing new features and/or enhancements to existing department software applications
• Identify production-based workflow strategies to streamline and improve process
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience, business affairs administration in entertainment and/or network experience a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• Previous Business Affairs or Business and Legal Affairs experience in TV (preferably at a studio or network) supporting senior executives
• Previous work experience with WGA a plus
