Job Description
Assist Director of West Coast Affiliate Marketing department in all aspects of local station promotion for NBC programs with emphasis on entertainment properties. Candidate will be involved in project development, planning, execution, and station communication with a focus on organization and administration. Point of communication for NBC Entertainment for planning and assets.
Responsibilities:
• Answer NBC station inquiries regarding on-air promos, graphics, news packages, digital assets primarily for Entertainment shows
• Interface with NBC Entertainment On-Air promo Priorities and Digital asset delivery
• Share responsibility for inputting promo metadata
• Maintain NBCAffiliateMarketing.com for Entertainment programming
• Assist compilation and analysis of performance data for Entertainment marketing projects
• Compile PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheet presentations as required
• Participate in brainstorming and developing social strategies and initiatives
• Post, engage and monitor B2B social media assets and strategic tie-ins with stations for Entertainment, News, Sports, Olympics and Late Night
• Responsible for daily distribution of social media assets via B2B channels
• Support every aspect of all NBCU Diversity projects
• Assist in drafting promotional e-blasts to stations
• Assist in watermarking graphic and video assets when needed
• Support the larger team with general administrative duties, including temporary desk and calendar coverage, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies and planning travel as needed
• Coordinate various aspects of participation in events, meetings, conventions
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related experience preferred
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
• Ability/potential to make sound decisions in handling sensitive and critical-to-air information
• Basic Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Conversant with Social Media platforms

• Organized, detailed, resourceful and a proactive approach to projects
• Knowledge in or experience working at a broadcast or cable network, a streamer or local television station, or related experience
• Ability/potential to write clear and concise marketing messages
• Ability/potential to organize and display data in Excel, interest in developing that skill
• Ability to multi-talk and perform well in high pressure situations
• Knowledge of digital video editing a plus

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000
