Job Description
NBC4 Los Angeles is looking for a Content Producer to collaborate with our team of exceptional journalists to create engaging and compelling content for our broadcast and digital platforms.
Here You Can:
• Work closely with Platform Managers (producers), Executive Producers and Assignment editors as well as Reporters and Anchors to create engaging and informative news stories with creativity and facts
• Use your strong organizational skills and work efficiently to meet fast-paced deadlines
• Partner with our dedicated digital team to create content for all NBC4 platforms
• Take charge of the big headlines, create memorable stories
• Be a leader by filling in as a Platform Manager when needed on NBC4 newscasts and special projects
• Play an active role in the editorial process
• Be responsible for making sure the overall editorial content aligns with the ''4 You'' brand by ensuring fairness, accuracy, balance, diversity, equity and inclusion
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience producing or writing and editing for a daily newscast
• Strong experience with desktop editing with exposure to Dalet preferred but not required
• Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts as assigned and when necessary to meet operational demands
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Additional Requirements:
Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000 DOE
