Responsibilities

The Coordinator will support the Unscripted Entertainment Communications team with administrative and operational responsibilities. This position will report to the EVP of Communications and VP of Talent Relations.

Responsibilities:
• Perform administrative support for EVP and VP with phone coverage and managing schedules, as well as department support such as manage invoices/reconciling all department expenses, maintain editorial calendars, update press lists, booking travel/creating itineraries, clip reels, press mailers, status reports and other assignments as required.
• Compile daily clip packets, distribute press materials to key executives, keep team apprised of all breaking news and monitor social media for all network and series related coverage.
• Research media outlets, reporters and articles to better identify coverage opportunities and trends.
• Supervise and train NBC pages and interns each quarter.
• Proof and distribute press releases, media alerts and listings highlights.
• Assist department with covering photo shoots, set visits, interviews, press stunts, red carpets, Upfront events and Television Critics Association.
• Develop positive relationships with press, talent, representatives, producers, production companies and executives in order to assist press managers in maximizing press coverage and minimizing crises.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Qualifications
• Bachelors degree
• 1+ year(s) experience in publicity / communications, media or related industry
• 1+ year(s) experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
