Job Description
The Casting Coordinator will report to the EVP, Casting and will support talent aspects of NBC, Peacock, E!, Bravo, Oxygen, Syfy, USA, Universal Kids & Syndication Studios.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Manage heavy phones, calendars, and contact management
• Manage individual and team expenses and coordinate travel with our internal travel consultants
• Meticulously track the status of talent and production for all projects
• Responsible for general office management (ordering & restocking supplies, conference room bookings & logistics, knowledge of company policies & procedures, etc.)
• Liase with internal departments and studios as well as external studio partners and agencies/management companies
• Oversee the hiring and day-to-day supervision of our Academic Year Interns
• Support talent efforts for the NBCU Entertainment Group
• Develop relationships with talent and their representatives
• Complete other casting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of industry experience
• Professional phone etiquette, top-tier organization, multitasking, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of SharePoint/OneDrive, Keynote, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience supporting high-level executives
• Willing and able to attend casting and talent related events after hours and/or on weekends
Desired Characteristics
• Prior talent experience with a casting office, network, studio, production, or talent booking company preferred
• Experience in scripted television and digital content, ideally from a talent or development standpoint
• Experience with casting software such as Cast It, Breakdown Express, and Eco Cast
• Knowledge of editing software a plus (iMovie, Final Cut, Premiere Pro, AVID)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Comfortable and professional when working with talent
• Team player who works well with others, exhibits flexibility, is passionate about talent, scripted and unscripted content, the entertainment industry, an avid TV watcher, and a strategic, forward-thinking individual
• Ability to work with and manage expectations of individuals with varying personalities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high energy environment
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
