Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Analyze legal contracts and other documents daily to track all pertinent dates and deadlines across all NBC Universal TV platforms (NBC Network, Universal Television, Universal Content Productions, Universal Television Alternative Studio, Universal International Studio, Peacock, USA, Syfy ,Bravo, Oxygen, E!, First Run Syndication). Contracts to be reviewed daily include but not limited to term deals, talent deals, script development, distribution agreements, license agreements, and all forms of production related functions - producers, writers, directors and performers. High level and high volume of detailed data input in specialized databases requiring exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business affairs or other television experience at a studio, network, law firm or agency preferred
• Ability to parse contracts to determine necessary information that needs to be tracked
• Ability to understand legal jargon and simplify it into everyday language
• Ability to apply training to similar but not the same situations
• Work experience in a fast-paced environment with a demanding workload
• Good business judgment, discretion/confidentiality and self-confidence
• Must possess exceptional computer skills

• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
