Job Description
Responsibilities
The Audience Retention Coordinator will assist with audience acquisition and retention of NBC Sports Regional Sports Networks' loyalty products, particularly newsletters and mobile apps. This person will primarily focus on the development and execution of email marketing campaigns for the NBC Sports Regional Sports Networks. They may also be asked to collaborate on larger NBCU Local initiatives, like app store optimization for mobile apps. The candidate should be creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. This is a great way to jumpstart your career in audience development.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform day-to-day newsletter activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns
• Manage all customer data within the list database to include opt-out management, hard bounce management
• Develop comprehensive reports detailing all key newsletter metrics including delivery, click rates, conversion, opt-out, and segmentation analysis
• Coordinate content featured in newsletters with the editorial team to ensure timeliness and relevance
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution
• Create and upload of graphics
• Develop and implement email acquisition plans to grow audience lists
• Optimize mobile apps to rank higher in app store's search results by using ASO tools
• Develop and implement audience acquisition and retention plans for mobile apps
• Support the Audience Retention Manager with all projects related to newsletters and mobile apps

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism preferred or related technical discipline
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Sailthru, Salesforce, Exact Target, Mailchimp, etc.)
• Basic HTML, CSS and graphic design skills a plus
• Knowledge of marketing tactics and email best practices
• Basic computer knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are mandatory
