Job Description

NBCU Strategy & Analytics Team is responsible for designing, execution and tracking of strategic sales initiatives in the NBCU Digital Ad Sales organization. They are the primary liaisons between individual NBCU sales and strategy teams, and other internal stakeholders such as Planning & Inventory, Product, Finance and Executive Leadership. Acting as strategic consultants to our sellers, this lean and dynamic team supports the needs of both the sales teams and the business leadership to monitor sales performance and provide insights for strategy development.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role has the following key areas of responsibility:

1. Development of Reporting Tools for Sales Performance Tracking
• Partner with Business Intelligence team to develop tools to monitor KPIs for creating a robust Sales Performance overview
• Create automation workflows for periodic reporting
• Measure effectiveness of monitored KPIs and maintain key metrics dictionary
• Use and maintain an in-depth understanding of key ad sales and planning systems (e.g. Salesforce, NBCU Internal budgeting systems) and tools
• Business Analytics
• Work on long term business strategy development for NBCU Digital Ad Sales
• Ad hoc analysis to gain deep dive insights into a business function/current process of NBCU Digital Ad Sales (E.g.: Planning, Finance, Sales)
• Effectively communicate Strategy to Executive Leadership through periodic check-ins
• Enhance relationships with current Digital Partners
• Evaluate and support high-impact strategic projects across digital partners
• Work closely with cross functional areas of business (Planning/ Marketing/ Sales/ Strategy/ Research/ Operations) to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and smooth operation of business as usual processes
• Play an active role in the analysis and planning of the annual Upfront to support different NBCU Sales/Product Teams

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2 years in an Analytics role in at a major TMT corporation or a Leading Investment Bank, Management Consulting firm
• Media/Ad Sales Experience not a minimum requirement
• Excel power user; Other data visualization, language skills a plus (Tableau, Microstrategy, SQL, R, Python, etc.)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal & networking skills

• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
