Responsibilities
The Analyst, Digital Ad Sales Finance will provide support in Ad Sales Finance processes for the News Group's digital media properties (NBC News, MSNBC, Today and CNBC) and the broader NBCU portfolio. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain a solid understanding of NBCU Ad Sales through daily exposure/interaction with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Research, and Division Finance functions.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide ongoing support to Director, Ad Sales Finance in fundamental reporting and analysis
• Ownership of Sales reporting and metrics analysis (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Support portfolio reporting and metrics analysis (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Support revenue forecasting process (budget, long range plan, estimates)
• Assist in monthly financial close
• Research drivers of key variances and trends
• Execute ad hoc historical advertising spending reporting requests
• Provide reporting and analysis of financial metrics to both Finance and Sales teams
• Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, Operative, Salesforce, Business Intelligence, etc.)
• Work with Sales team to ensure that sales data is financially accurate
• Work cross-functionally on ad hoc, Sales related project work

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 1+ years of finance experience
