Job Description
Responsibilities

The Account Executive will be responsible for growing revenue across the NBCU Local Portfolio through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions to clients. Our portfolio includes Linear TV (11 NBC, 11 Telemundo Linear Channels, as well as their COZI and TeleXitos Digital Channels) Digital OTT/CTV Platforms (Peacock, Spot On, NBC, and NBC cable portfolio) and our Digital Out of Home (Taxi, and Airport Reach TV). The AE will develop a solid understanding of our ad products and have solid consultative selling skills to be able to best develop solutions to meet client needs and close deals. Revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction, and product implementation success are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Proactively meet and develop strong business relationships with clients, buyers, media planners and brand managers in your assigned territory
• Ensure optimal market coverage, professional client engagements, increasing awareness of products, services and capabilities
• Identify and develop strategies for penetrating key accounts and prospects
• Provide continual input and assessments to sales management in order to drive ongoing improvements in sales strategy and approach
• Achieve Quarterly revenue targets as assigned by Sales Management
• Manage the opportunity pipeline and revenue forecasting
• Participate in weekly pipeline, and proposal review meetings
• Identify, coordinate, and attend all appropriate local marketing and advertising association events

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements
• 3+ years in media sales
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Eligibility Requirements
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work in New York City area.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must accept Solutions as NBCUniversal s Alternative Dispute Resolution program.

Additional Requirements

Desired Characteristics
• Prior experience selling advertising/sponsorships to major accounts and advertising agencies
• Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com
• Social Media Expert
• Fully bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus
• Self-starter that can thrive in both a corporate and start-up environment
• Excellent knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and pricing models
• Excellent knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
• Strong ability to collaborate and coordinate
• Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional presentation skills - creation and delivery
• Ability to accurately identify and assess opportunities and apply resources and strategies appropriately
• Ability to proactively manage the successful execution of a sales strategy
