Job Purpose
Work with a driven and highly motivated team as an integral part of the One Platform Ad Sales team at NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for revenue goals, which include growing existing business as well as developing new business across all linear and digital NBCU properties and partnerships. The Account Executive will be responsible for growing revenue across multiple platforms through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions. Revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction and product implementation are key to a successful candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing agencies & client relationships through day-to-day contact
• Look for opportunities to develop monetizable solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service, including new business
• Understand customer KPI's and look for opportunities to develop monetize-able solutions, including customizable cross-platform opportunities that meet client needs.
• Be fluent in One Platform opportunities, collaborating across verticals to drive NBCU revenue
• Develop accounts from existing linear business to digital business
• Keep abreast of the continually evolving digital media marketplace, customers, and competition in order to conceive and effectively execute a sales strategy that generates and informs product offerings and drives improved operations and financial results
• Own, manage, and develop relationships with senior leaders/business owners at clients and agencies
• Ensure optimal market coverage, professional client engagements, increasing awareness of products, services and capabilities
• Identify and develop strategies for penetrating key accounts and prospects
Salary Range: $150,000 - 190,000, bonus elgibile
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of media experience including Digital- CTV, Mobile, Native, Sponsorships and Performance a plus
• Extensive San Francisco market experience and relationships including Technology and Finance categories
• Data driven with a solid understanding of digital advertising performance metrics and measurement capabilities.
• Proven experience in prospecting new clients, generating sales leads and closing the sale
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external partners and constituencies to execute programs in a unified effort using best practices
• Consistent track record of achievement in increasing / maximizing sales revenue and profitability across multiple products and offerings
• Self-starter: ability to work very independently, but also fit into a strong team environment
• Analytical / strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful, able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Eligibility Requirements
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
Desired Characteristics
• Media sales experience and working knowledge in the Digital landscape to meet direct sale of our portfolio ad products; including but not limited to: Linear, Streaming, Social/Sponsorships, Snap and Apple News
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, client relationships and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work and analyze numeric data
• Proven ability to alternate from detailed work to client interaction seamlessly
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at the senior level
• Proven team player with the ability to take on different assignments/projects in a timely manner
• Dynamic, results-driven leader with a track record of building meaningful partnerships with an expansive network, and an ability to envision and execute on new business opportunities.
