Job Description

Responsibilities
The Account Executive will be responsible for growing revenue across NBC Spot On OTT/CTV platform through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions to clients. The AE will develop a solid understanding of our ad products and have solid consultative selling skills to be able to best develop solutions to meet client needs and close deals. Revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction, and product implementation success are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Aggressively meet and develop strong business relationships with all buyers, media planners and brand managers in your assigned territory
• Ensure optimal market coverage, professional client engagements, increasing awareness of products, services and capabilities
• Identify and develop strategies for penetrating key accounts and prospects
• Provide continual input and assessments to sales management in order to drive ongoing improvements in sales strategy and approach
• Achieve Quarterly revenue targets as assigned by Digital Sales Management
• Manage the opportunity pipeline and revenue forecasting
• Participate in weekly pipeline, and proposal review meetings
• Identify, coordinate, and attend all appropriate local marketing and advertising association events
• Collaborate and assist NBC Local's sales teams utilizing expertise to drive results

Qualifications/Requirements

3+ years in digital media sales in a media company
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Desired Characteristics

Prior experience selling digital media and/or OTT/CTV ad solutions to major accounts and advertising agencies
Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com
Self-starter that can thrive in both a corporate and start-up environment
Excellent knowledge of OTT/CTV industry trends, technologies, and pricing models
Excellent knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
Strong ability to collaborate and coordinate
Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
Exceptional communication skills
Exceptional presentation skills - creation and delivery
Ability to accurately identify and assess opportunities and apply resources and strategies appropriately
Ability to aggressively manage the successful execution of a sales strategy
Excellent negotiation skills
Basic understanding of online ad serving, 3rd party research tools, attribution measurement and digital buying systems (eg: MediaOcean's Prisma)
