Job Purpose

The Account Executive (NBCU Digital Gaming) will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team to expand into a brand new category – video game advertising.

NBCUniversal has recently partnered with Anzu, the world's leading in-game advertising platform. Operating across mobile, PC, and console platforms, Anzu blends real-world brand ads directly into video games, esports tournaments, and live streams. NBCUniversal is Anzu's global sales partner and exclusive third-party seller in the US and UK, and the Account Executive will be responsible for driving digital revenue through direct sales of Anzu's in-game advertising products. The Account Executive will work closely with the VP's and SVP's to maximize revenue and build the video game advertising business for the NBCU Digital Advertising Sales and Partnership Group.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Generate/increase revenue from both new and existing advertisers with an established list of agencies and clients to meet annual revenue goals
• Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients and agencies through routine communication; actively grow industry relationships in order to gain marketplace intelligence
• Understand customer needs and look for opportunities to develop creative solutions, including customizable cross-platform opportunities with the goal of generating revenue for Anzu's in-game advertising products
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and execute sales calls with agency planning/buying groups and clients to secure business for the NBC Digital Advertising Sales and Partnership Group
• Manage accounts from pre-sale through post sale analysis
• Serve as a video game subject matter expert within the NBC Digital Advertising Sales and Partnership Group
• Work closely with the Anzu team to develop new solutions for clients
• Communicate with all sales counterparts within the NBCU portfolio and employ leverage (where applicable) in order to grow corporate share
• Lead, develop, motivate and mentor support team of sales planner and sales assistant by developing strong team alliance, inclusive participation and structured training
• Communicate effectively within assigned office, as well as with other national offices and various sales support groups across the company

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years selling experience in Advertising Sales, Digital Sales experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of the gaming ecosystem highly preferred

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

• Proven experience in prospecting new clients, generating sales leads and closing the sale
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Self-starter; ability to work very independently, but also fit into a strong team environment
• Ability to travel as necessary
• Ability to effectively analyze data
• Excellent interpersonal and client relation skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
