NBCU's Commerce Partnerships team has built an innovative platform enabling brand partners of all sizes to drive commerce and collapse the purchase funnel through premium programming / audiences and high impact shoppable advertising. Branded in the marketplace as NBCUniversal Checkout and ShoppableTV.

Commerce Partnerships Account Executive is a commerce digitally native sales role identifying retail brands and agencies to partner with to allow for NBCUniversal to be positioned as the commerce destination for all brands in digital and premium video. The person in this role should have experience identifying and developing brand partnerships with a background in the e-commerce and media space.

Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for managing agencies & client relationships through day-to-day contact including:
• Look for opportunities to develop monetizable solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service, including new business
• Understand customer needs, and develop solutions that meet customer needs
• Be fluent in Commerce partnership opportunities, collaborating across verticals to drive NBCU revenue
• Develop accounts from existing linear business to digital business
• Own, manage, and develop relationships with senior leaders/business owners at clients and agencies
• Gain understanding of advertising/internet industries and business models
• Partner with senior management on the Commerce Partnerships Sales team to help identify revenue opportunities

Qualifications/Requirements
• Focus on clients as partners and allies in the successful build out of commerce activations and ideate sales strategies & solutions that deliver against their KPIs
• Collaborate across internal NBC teams to articulate client needs and further identify revenue driving opportunities
• 5 years of business development and sales experience in e-commerce and digital media or related industry mix
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and executing successful revenue driving partnerships
• Understand and respect the positioning and business needs of all NBCUniversal Network partners; align solutions accordingly
• Research and analyze client business; present strategic creative solutions to negotiate and close the sale
• Develop and present status reports to leadership teams
• Stay ahead of industry trends especially those of competitive or near competitive product
• Experience managing partnerships across multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
• Ability to both react to current business as well as ability to anticipate future business trends
• BA/BS degree or equivalent

Eligibility Requirements
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

• Media & Retail Experience (Merchandising, Fashion/Tech) preferred
