Responsibilities
The AdSmart Sales Account Director will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team. With a focus on driving revenue through our Advanced TV solution suite, AdSmart enables advertisers to target strategic audiences efficiently and at scale with our data driven national linear and addressable products. AdSmart leverages big data and precision targeting to enable marketers to utilize the medium of linear TV for all of its strengths, with its broad reach and deep engagement, to more effectively and efficiently reach the high value audiences that are core to meeting their business outcomes. This role will report directly into to the VP of AdSmart Sales, managing relationships with clients and media agencies and collaborating internally with key stakeholders & counterparts across the NBCU organization in order to meet cross portfolio revenue goals.

The ability to operate effectively at the intersection of traditional and new media, as well as extensive knowledge/experience with the data driven advanced advertising landscape are critical to achieving success in this role. The ideal candidate is solution oriented and comfortable with a dynamic, fast paced environment, critical thinking, and working collaboratively as part of a larger cross-functional team

Responsibilities
• Drive revenue across our Advanced Television solution suite
• Evangelize cross portfolio and platform selling internally
• Educate agency teams as well as brand marketers on the advanced advertising marketplace (including emerging and existing advanced advertising platforms, products, technologies, and measurement and attribution offerings)
• Translate data strategy into digestible insights and strategic plans – to cut through complexity in order to create clarity and simplicity for clients
• Drive the sales process from prospecting, RFP, RFI & platform proposal creation to closing deals and delivering posting/strategic reporting and outcome-based measurement and attribution results
• Develop and maintain client relationships and drive campaign success and billings/revenue growth of the practice
• Provide meaningful thought leadership with an emphasis on both actionable and future-state offerings – contributing to AdSmart and NBCU's overall business growth goals
• Develop strategic relationships with key partners and platforms in the Advanced TV space
• Apply a broad range of creative problem-solving skills to business and client issues, combining strategic, technical and analytical excellence, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations/proposals
• Manage multiple initiatives at once and ensure strong integration, delivery and execution with optimal communication flow across disciplines
• Interpret success stories/case studies and be able to apply them to specific advertiser/partner opportunities on the fly
• Handle intensive levels of back and forth communication with all key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
• Represent the AdSmart brand at relevant data centric industry events and conferences

Qualifications/Requirements
• 8+ years of relevant direct selling experience in advertising sales (Advanced TV, Data, Addressable, Audience based campaigns and targeting, platforms, OTT, Connected TV)
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Willingness to travel and work overtime

• Thorough understanding of advertising research, attribution, and effectiveness
• Entrepreneurial spirit and positive ''can do'' attitude. Ability to create enhancements, features, process out of white space.
• Knowledge of key data providers and related ecosystem
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and communicate an idea or concept
• Experience presenting to senior level executives & clients and in new business settings
• Strong ability to navigate complex highly matrixed sales organizations. Self-motivated, positive and collaborative, outgoing, organized, efficient, team player and strategic thinker
• Outstanding project management and time management skills, comfortable working under tight deadlines
