Job Description

NBC Sports is seeking a Sr. Email Marketing Manager to join our team. This position will be based in Stamford, CT. The position leads a team of email marketing specialists focused on execution, optimization for our email and mobile marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for building out the necessary strategy, tactics, campaigns, and creative to deliver on program goals. They play an integral role in building, delivering, and measuring campaigns aimed at these goals through current channels, as well as developing the roadmap for a clear A/B testing framework of new channels, such as SMS, QR codes, and in-app messaging. They will leverage their CRM knowledge, digital marketing experience, and campaign performance data to iteratively test, optimize, and recommend new best practices. They'll also stay current on CRM best practices, industry insights, and help manage vendor relationships.

The Sr. Email Marketing Manager will be expected to:
• Lead the strategic development and campaign execution for all email, push and SMS efforts across all products with a constant focus on optimization to achieve high CTOR, conversion, retention other key goals.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop sophisticated email and mobile journeys, behavioral, transactional, and triggered campaigns
• Determine the circulation plan, segmentation strategy, cadence, frequency, and dynamic content logic for all email efforts
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors that assist with the execution of our daily email programs
• Manage email team workflows, production capacity, and schedule; identify process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scale to capacity of the team
• Develop and execute a testing plan to optimize email and mobile campaigns to drive business KPIs
• Understand email system configuration and complete data flow
• Own and report internally on all KPIs and metrics to proactively optimize and develop all CRM programs to create the best consumer experience.
• Lead development and execution of the roadmap for a clear A/B testing framework of new and existing programs to increase growth, optimize experience and improve retention.
• Deep dive to into data to identify key insights increase customer engagement and interaction and develop end-to-end customer lifecycle strategies that drive engagement and retention
• Track and report on results and make recommendations based on performance insights

Qualifications
• 5+ years of prior email and CRM marketing experience required
• A deep understanding of CRM and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Prior managerial experience required
• Understanding and experience with CSS, HTML, and responsive design best practices
• Proficient experience in analytical skills with a desired focus on testing and measuring results
• Proven track record of developing audience segments, campaigns, and creative geared toward engagement and retention
• Proficient project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies, and risk factors
• Efficient and proficient oral/written presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Knowledge of data visualization platforms, comfortable managing and analyzing large quantities of data

Additional Requirements:
• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Must be willing to work in the Stamford, CT office
