Responsibilities
We are expanding and growing NBC News Now big time and fast. We need a creative, passionate team of journalists to make the magic happen morning, noon, and night.

Responsibilities/Job Duties
• Able to work under deadline while multi-tasking and juggle producing multiple stories for regular and breaking-news programming
• Write compelling anchor copy with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Produce live segments, including research, writing sharp questions and identifying the strongest possible elements
• Pitch the most relevant, timely and compelling ideas for day-of and future segments
• Quality check all video content
• Keep senior producers and the EP up to date with daily news development of assigned stories

Qualifications/Requirements
• Working as a producer in live daily news broadcast,

streaming or cable for at least 5+ years – preferably also

familiar with control room operations
• You've got thorough knowledge of current events and

excellent editorial judgement
• Strong writing skills
• You've got big ideas and the journalistic writing and

research skills to bring them to life
• You have a Bachelor's degree
• You are willing to work in New York, New York

Desired Characteristics
• Ability to shoot
• Experience with Avid and/or Premiere
• You're familiar with iNEWS
• You live for the moments when news is breaking and time

to air is short
