Responsibilities
This position is for a Producer at the National Desk for News Channel.

Job Duties:
• Respond quickly to breaking news
• Review and deliver appropriate contact from various news sources to the affiliates
• Select, research, write scripts and edit video for national feed
• Service affiliate and network and client requests
• Trouble-shoot problems as they arise in daily operations
• Communicate story developments to the writers
• Follow and communicate Rights and Clearances restrictions

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years in a newsroom environment
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays
• Must be able to work flexible hours during major breaking news
• Must be able to work in Charlotte, NC

• Previous work at NBC News or NBC affiliate
