Responsibilities
This position is for a Director at the National Desk/Newsgathering for News Channel.

Job Duties:
• Supervise and ensure delivery for appropriate contact from various news sources to the affiliates
• Consistently screen video and scripts for national feed
• Ensure content served for affiliates and network are up to date
• Trouble-shoot problems as they arise in daily operations
• Communicate and manage production schedules for the team
• Follow and communicate Rights and Clearances restrictions

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years in a newsroom environment
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays
• Must be able to work flexible hours during major breaking news
• Must be able to work in Charlotte, NC

• Previous work at NBC News or NBC affiliate
