Job Description
We are looking for a Coordinating Producer for our White House Unit.

• Manage the daily execution of editorial and logistical needs at the White House – minor correspondent and producer scheduling issues, daily crew and logistical hurdles, meals, and overall booth wellness and management
• Serve as the frontline for all domestic White House travel & hard pass-related issues
• Double as a booth, pool, and field producer as required and spearhead projects like the Annual Journalism Awards
• Work in coordination with unit's Director on daily and long-term scheduling
• Act as the primary backfill for the unit's Director and run the unit when the Director is dedicated to major special events
• Handle the necessary sign-ups for White House COVID testing, as needed

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Must have strong journalistic writing skills, research skills, and editorial judgment
• Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice
• Demonstrated strong knowledge and interest in news and current events
• At least 5 years' experience in editorial and show production
• Must be willing to travel as needed
• Must be willing to work in Washington, DC
