The MTV Staying Alive Foundation (MTV SAF) is an independent charity (registered in South Africa, USA and UK) that produces ground-breaking, original media content that delivers vital HIV and sexual and reproductive health messaging to a global audience. We are linked to ViacomCBS through the in-kind support they give as well as the use of the MTV brand. All our content is distributed rights-cleared and cost-free, enabling us to reach the widest audience possible.

The MTV Staying Alive Foundation requires a Team Assistant to support our senior team in London and provide general project support to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation.

The coordinator will report into the Deputy Executive Director.

What will you be doing?
• Provide project management support to the MTV SAF team
• Liaise with legal team for all MTV SAF suppliers.
• Write and upload content for the MTV SAF website.
• Manage the MTV SAF social media accounts.
• Sourcing and booking freelance staff such as editors and designers
• Coordinate presence at conferences and other external stakeholder events.
• Provide admin support to the Deputy Executive Director and Creative Director, including organising meetings, booking travel, and managing expenses.
• Conduct research on issues or potential funders.

What are we looking for?
• Admin support experience.
• A skilled, engaging communicator - both on paper and in person. Must be able to successfully interact with people at all levels, both externally and internally within the larger framework of MTV SAF/ViacomCBS.
• Must be 'hands-on' – as a small department we require staff to be flexible and do a wide range of things on a day-to-day basis.
• Must be able to multitask with an ability to juggle numerous projects.
• Adept at using social media as a marketing tool.
• Should be creative and able to contribute with ideas for campaigns, content, and projects.
• Must be organized, upbeat and be able to manage a heavy workload.
• Should thrive in a fast-paced environment and think no task is too big or too small.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly.
• Someone with an interest in social issues.
