Overview:

The Manager, Consumer Marketing will support the development and execution of paid media plans for series and specials across MTV & VH1. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Marketing, this role will help build and lead 360 marketing campaigns to drive ratings and build engaged audiences across the networks.

Responsibilities:
• Support the development of 360 paid media campaigns for MTV & VH1 series and specials
• Work with internal and external partners to ensure media plans are on-strategy, timely and on-budget
• Handle media details and implement plans across all media channels including TV, Digital, OOH, Radio, and Print
• Provide feedback and insight on media plans to ensure strategic and creative cohesion
• Serve as department liaison with internal teams including Project Management, Brand Creative, Social, Programming, and Research
• Build media plan decks and present plan strategy and tactics to key partners
• Translate research reports and previous campaign findings into strategic recommendations
• Strategize innovative ways to build buzz and reach our audiences
• Work closely with the creative team to share media plans and deliverables
• Ensure timely and accurate development and delivery of all assets for each campaign
• Ensure all branding and key information is on strategy for the show, network, and audience
• Monitor live campaigns and make real-time adjustments to optimize toward campaign objectives
• Develop and manage a Coordinator and intern on the Consumer Marketing team
• Handle and deliver performance review and goal setting for direct reports

Basic Responsibilities:
• 4+ years of experience in media or marketing, preferably in TV/entertainment

• Excellent follow-through, follow-up, and proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while working in a hybrid work model
