Responsibilities
MSNBC is looking for a Post Coordinator for the Longform Acquisitions team.

This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.

Responsibilities:
• Provides dayside/prime editorial teams with promotional materials as needed; for internal, non-Studios longform specials, as well as acquisitions/films and series MSNBC is taking a second window on.
• Oversees all technical aspects of internal, non-Studios longform specials, as well as films and series MSNBC is taking a second window on (i.e. Civil War / Peacock)
• Provides delivery specs and helps troubleshoot during production/editing for internal, non-Studios longform specials, and acquisitions
• QC's first delivery and provides notes/feedback on changes needed in a timely fashion and helps execute those changes with an editor or if capable can do themselves; QC's final delivery; for internal, non-Studios longform specials, and acquisitions.
• Ensures all promotional materials, and project hard drives are on time and meet standards; for all of longform.
• Assists in archiving final shows; for all longform.
• Works with Head of Production to ensure all paperwork and physical assets are delivered and that everything is cleared for use.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of experience working in documentaries or

unscripted content
• Candidate must be proficient in Windows and Mac
operating systems, MS Word/Excel/Outlook
• Needs to demonstrate a high level of initiative, flexibility,

and confidentiality

Additional Job Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Los Angeles, CA or NY.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the

United States.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under

tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19

vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated,

submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days

following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the

commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced

protocols if Company determines your job position

requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19

workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
• Excellent knowledge of politics, history and current events.
• Must have the ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Knowledge of Avid/Interplay and iNews preferred.
