Job Description
Responsibilities
The Media Coordinator is responsible for the on-air and digital scheduling and creative asset management across various owned media channels of NBC News (TODAY, Nightly News, Meet the Press and Dateline) & MSNBC. Additionally, this position will provide hands on experience learning an important marketing discipline that is essential to the success of the NBC Universal organization. They will report into the Director of Media and will have the opportunity to work closely with the larger NBC News Marketing team.

Responsibilities will include:
• Work closely with Media Managers to develop strategic promotional plans leveraging appropriate media platforms
• Schedule on-air promotions across NBC News and MSNBC
• Communicate NBC News promotions with over 200+ local affiliate stations on a daily basis
• Maintain an overall knowledge and understanding of on-air priorities across both NBC News and MSNBC
• Distribute creative across all owned media channels (On-air, VOD, Digital, Mobile, OOH, etc.) for NBC News & MSNBC
• Assist with paid and off-channel campaigns and work closely with agency partners
• Maintain digital schedule for NBC News and MSNBC working closely with Digital Ad Ops team as well as Media Managers
• Communicate with internal teams throughout the creative development process to ensure proper execution of marketing initiatives
• Full understanding of creative development process including status of current and future projects and campaigns
• Provide reporting and analysis for on-air and digital campaigns
• Provide general assistance to the Media Team

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 1 year previous work experience within relevant field preferred including internships (media agency, account management, creative trafficking, etc.)
