Job Description

What you'll do
• Reporting to the Regional Head of Technology Infrastructure for North America, the candidate will be responsible for the overall health and operations of local technology infrastructure such as network, storage, and systems
• Administer and manage high performance storage platforms and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues through excellent technical understanding of large scale networking and routing
• Communicate business critical metrics daily to local senior management and the global technology executive team
• Proactively use monitoring tools to forecast technology areas requiring attention on ongoing basis
• Identify and remediate storage or network bottlenecks, infrastructure-wide
• Ensure the timely and successful completion of all data backups
• Understand and manage the maintenance of data center power and cooling systems
• In collaboration with the Regional Head, manage the budgeting for all required local technology infrastructure needs including forecasting and support/maintenance renewal
• Perform technology purchasing and budget tracking
• Manage local software licenses from forecasting to deployment
• Guide local senior management, artists and Systems staff surrounding technology issues
• Lead and develop a team of system administrators
• Attend daily progress reviews and senior management meetings
• Manage large scale projects

Qualifications

What you'll need

Technical Skills
• 7-10 years of experience working with IT infrastructure in a media or high-performance computing environment
• Extensive experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS preferred)
• In depth knowledge of network services including DNS, DHCP, NIS, NFS, etc.
• Strong shell scripting skills
• Experience with virtualization (VMware)
• Experience with Cloud deployments
• In depth knowledge of IP networks, sub netting and routing
• Experience building out simple but resilient networks
• Experience specifying, deploying and supporting large scale and high-performance network storage
• Some knowledge of Content Security requirements
