The Day Porter role is an important part of MPC's Front of House Team. MPC is currently seeking a Day Porter at our Los Angeles Studio. This individual will report to the Client Services Manager, but also engage in regular interaction with clients and our employee base, including senior management and A-list talent. Our Day Porter is a valued team member and one of the many important faces representing our Company culture and demonstrating our Company values as we aim to provide our clients first class service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all public areas of the Studio are clean and tidy throughout the day which includes removing all litter, keeping the kitchen clean, clutter free, and smelling fresh, emptying of trash receptacles, and making sure all furniture is neat and dirt/dust free.
• Responsible for sterilizing and cleaning counter-tops, desk tops, restrooms, toilets, urinals, sinks, kitchens, trash cans and other similar items and areas
• Maintain stock and replace toilet paper, hand soap, air fresheners, toilet seat covers, trash can liners in all restrooms and other areas with replaceable items.
• Disinfect high traffic areas/items such as handrails and door knobs
• Respond to unexpected cleanups as necessary (spills, restroom floods, etc…)
• Ensure that cleaning material storage areas are properly stocked and maintained at all times.
• Identify and report possible items in need of repair.
• Perform light handiwork and repairs, including moving small furniture and changing light bulbs
• Maintain Studio plants, including watering when needed and cleaning planters.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required education:
• High School Diploma

Preferred Experience:
• 2 – 3 years' experience working as a Day Porter. Small Entertainment Studio/Agency experience desired.

The team member will frequently (74-50%) be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift and grasp. Additionally, the team member will be required to lift less than or equal to at least 25 lbs. of force occasionally (49-25%), less than or equal to at least 15 lbs. of force frequently (74-50%), and less than or equal to at least 10 lbs. of force constantly (100-75%) to move objects.
