Job Description
OverviewAs part of Entertainment team, the Coordinator – Entertainment serves as an integral member of the Entertainment and Marketing teams – as it relates to game operations, seasonal staff management, and non-game events. The position will work under the direction of the Manager – Entertainment, will work closely with the Entertainment and Marketing teams, as well various departments across the organization. The position requires someone who is collaborative, creative, enthusiastic and has excellent communication and organizational skills.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Act as the day-to-day manager for the Brew Crew, one of the Brewers' entertainment teams:
• Schedule staff for all games, appearances and non-gameday events
• Create staff schedules and rotations for all Brewers home games
• Lead pregame Brew Crew staff meetings
• Act as a Brew Crew Supervisor for all home games, assisting with any and all fan concerns as needed
• Manage staffing, availability, and attendance for the Brew Crew, including but not limited to addressing any attendance issues with employees
• Assist in the set up and execution of all game day activities and promotions
• Act as the main back-of-house producer on gamedays, ensuring all gameday elements, features and promotions are executed successfully
• Correspond and coordinate with entertainment groups involved in the game day experience
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of weekend performances. (Drumlines and Clowns)
• Assist in the coordination, preparation and presentation of non-game events, such as mascot appearances, street team events, community parades, block parties, summer festivals, etc.
• Track internal and external requests for all Milwaukee Brewer Mascots
• Act as the main point of contact for clients
• Book performers
• Coordinate day of event details between performers and client
• Assist the Entertainment Producer with partner requests for in-game footage and content, including pulling footage for features, sponsor recaps, and postseason approvals
• Help the Entertainment Producer in research efforts for Brewers scoreboard trivia and visiting team trivia, so trivia is relevant and interesting on a game-to-game basis
• Monitor both industry and culturally-relevant trends that could be used to improve and enhance our in-game presentation
• Assist in programing all Brewers trivia using the Ross Xpression system
• Oversee the preparation of the entertainment office prior to all home games for the Senior Coordinator and Coordinator
• Maintain department databases/equipment/storage facilities
• Support new project efforts as assigned by the Management - Entertainment
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise approximately 75 Brew Crew staff members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and 1-2 years of experience in event presentation/game operations/live events. Experience with managing large staff is a plus.

Work Hours
Regular business office hours are Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm, however, the ability to work long hours and some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required. This individual will be expected to work all Brewers home games. However, given the nature of this position, weekly hours may be reduced to approximately 25 hours per week during the offseason.
