Overview

Summary Responsible for assisting Brewers Community Foundation Coordinator Lead 50/50 by providing oversight of Game Staff to set up 50/50 selling program for home games and other events. Assist in managing inventory, paperwork and ensure proper guidelines are followed for compliance and licensing. This is a part-time, seasonal position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Other duties may be assigned.
• Assist with the setup of BCF's 50/50 selling program for Brewers season including Opening Day
• Help manage inventory of supplies including, tickets, brochures and seller apparel among others
• Attend all home games to support the program
• Assist with processing and managing required paperwork for the program
• Oversee money intake for 50/50 ticket sales
• Schedule and supervise staff
• Follow raffle license guidelines/rules
• Provide coverage for Coordinator Lead – 50/50 as needed

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must be available during March - November
• Prior experience with supervision and management of subordinates
• Prior experience handling credit card machines is preferred
• Ability to interact positively with large fan base
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Above average verbal and written communication skills are required

Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist in supervision of seasonal Game Day staff. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Hours

Hours vary according to the game and event schedule. Candidates must be willing to work all home games, nights, weekends, day games and holidays when necessary.
