Overview

Summary Responsible for selling new season ticket accounts and retaining a portion of season ticket accounts that they personally sold from previous years. Responsible for generating group ticket sales by bringing in new accounts and maintaining a relationship with these accounts in order to retain them annually. Provide ongoing communication via telephone, e-mail, and mail correspondence. Generate new business through calling prospects assigned through the lead model, lapsed Season Seat Holders and accumulated leads from past seasons. Promotes sale of new and renewal season and group tickets.

• Maintain contact with all renewed season ticket accounts as well as all group accounts to provide superior service with focus of retaining accounts from year-to-year
• Build relationships with accounts through organized meet and greet sessions at the Season Seat Holder Headquarters, seat visits, video and call campaigns
• Follow up on all sales leads to sell new season ticket and group accounts. Assign seat locations to new season ticket accounts and group accounts. Secure and process all payments of new season and group ticket accounts
• Create and maintain customer information for both existing accounts and prospects through Customer Relationship Management program including logging of phone conversations, future action to be taken and logging customer complaints. Properly code all season and group ticket sales
• Attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings coming prepared to provide input on creative sales ideas and providing feedback on successes and challenges of previous week
• Provide thoughts and ideas on new sales and retention initiatives for each sales campaign
• Provide game day assistance with escorting pre-game participants from large group season ticket accounts to the field for their specific activity. Assist at various sales related events throughout the year
• Represent the Sales Team at the Season Seat Holder Headquarters on assigned game dates
• Identify market segments and market opportunities to pursue for growth of ticket sales
• Meet daily call quotas in order to attain individual and departmental sales goals
• Handle additional projects as assigned by Vice President – Ticket Sales, Senior Director - Ticket Sales, and Director - Group Sales

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Hours

Business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm, however, additional hours may be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays.
