Job Description

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking an Director of Asset Management Delivery Services that works with various vendors and multiple internal teams to budget, model, engage, schedule, execute and track all approved project plans to localize current and catalogue content.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Technical Ops and Servicing Teams to gather requirements and delivery timelines to formulate various localization and project plans
• Initiate RFP's/Purchase Orders with vendors and onboarding of same
• Manage day-to-day relationship with vendors on project matters; provide regular status reports and proactively offer solutions to ensure quality results
• Manage project status tracking and communicate updates to senior management as needed
• Partner with internal and external localization peers to define and document best localization practices and establish productive relationships with dubbing vendors to ensure all materials are localized in a timely manner
• Partner with relevant internal teams to draft and maintain localization style guides e.g., subtitling, metadata, and best practices documentation
• Manage localization and project purchase orders/invoicing and process within SAP in a timely fashion, disputing and resolving invoice issues as needed
• Review and update episode file names and asset information in MGM vendor's inventory for servicing and posterity
• Must be able to lead and delegate work to project stakeholders to ensure that all operational targets and project objectives are met

Basic Requirements:
• 5+ years of international localization and media distribution experience

Preferred Requirements:
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards for localization dubbing, subtitling, closed captions, accessibility files, editing tools, audio/video file formats, codecs, bitrates, frame rates, television standards, film formats, video resolutions, aspect ratios, broadcast audio configurations and electronic delivery technologies
• Strong organization, communication (verbal and written), and keen attention to detail.
• Must have expert level skill set with Excel
• Proficient in Microsoft Visio
• SAP experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and vendors
• Experience with file and tape inventory systems and related data entry
