What a Development Manager - LifeCycle Ops does at EA:

As the Development Manager for the LifeCycle Ops team, You will be reporting to the group's Lead Development Director. You will be responsible for project schedules and coordination between main partners like Producers, Brand and Marketing, Data Analyst and Product Managers to implement Live operations strategies to increase performance in Acquisition, Engagement and Retention.

Role Responsibilities:
• Interface and collaborate with creative, production, business and technical operations to manage timelines for launches, main menu updates, experiments that are following the product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with project partners to establish schedules, define and track progress of team's deliverables and coordinate dependencies with external partners.
• Partner with production to navigate priority changes, manage scope and quality to implement deliverables.
• Determine the resource requirements to meet the tasks and project requirements and provide regular status reporting regarding release plans.
• Collaborate with partnering teams to surface and address risk for the team.
• Run meetings such as stand-ups and sprint planning to keep the team align and moving forward.
• Work with subject matter experts of your team and ensure all workflow is clearly defined, processes are documented, and staff trained in expectations on the workflow.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of project management or team leadership experience in a software dev environment.
• 1-2 years experience managing a fast pace Live Service team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• An understanding of interdisciplinary dependencies associated with Live Service teams.
• Experience in different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
• Effective in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Airtable
• 1-2 years people management experience is a bonus.
• Education requirement University degree Bachelors or equivalent professional experience

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
