Job Description

Marvel Digital Media exists to amplify all that Marvel is and to evolve it into all else it can be. Today that consists of segments in digital advertising, subscriptions, digital media productions and the portfolio of direct-to-consumer marketing services to support the rest of Marvel lines of business.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing and Operations to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Operations, this role will play an integral part in ensuring that our marketing programs are executed well and the customers of our direct-to-consumer products and programs have the best possible experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and comfortable multi-tasking and taking initiative. This role will interface with many teams across the business, including Marketing, Product/Engineering and Design.

Partnership Marketing
• Manage asset creation deliverables, timelines, creative review and approvals processes for co-marketing promotions
• Manage onboard details for new initiatives such as affiliate program and co-marketing with podcasts
• Help liaise with Apple/Android leads, Product and Development teams, and Marketing teams to gain editorial or product focused featuring on-platform

Customer Support
• Manage the relationship with the customer service vendor/customer support team
• Develop, implement, and evolve standard operating procedures and best practices in customer service
• Create and maintain actionable customer service reports to inform improvements to the customer support channel
• Coordinate with Product/Dev stakeholders to help drive cross-functional accountability
• Digital Licensees: Manage the internal, external licensees and LOBs process for Digital Product Assessment (DPA)

Insider/Other
• Assist with day-to-day operations of Marvel Insider, including activity and reward updates, customer service issue resolutions
• Opportunity to help with research initiatives, events / cons, and new initiatives such as EST Digital Comics Platform

The hiring range for this position in New York is $55,000 to $65,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
